What Is Toyota for Families?
The Toyota for Families toolkit allows parents and guardians to search for their specific make and model or just enter the VIN. After you have located your vehicle, you can indicate within the app where you plan to install the car seat and the type of car seat you have (whether that’s rear-facing, forward-facing, or a booster seat).
Not sure what kind of car seat you have? The app even has a cool “help-me-choose” resource that makes new parents or novice guardians more confident in the installation.
Once you’ve determined the vehicle, the location of the car seat, and the type of car seat, the app provides a video instructional guide, as well as written out step-by-step guidance for installation.
This app initially launched for the 2021 Toyota Sienna but will soon expand to other vehicles in the Toyota lineup.
