• The 2.7-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder with VVT lays out 159 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque.
• For more power, go with the available 3.5-liter V6 Direct-Injection Atkinson Cycle Engine that cranks out 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque.

When properly equipped with the Tow Package, the Tacoma can tow up to 6,800 pounds. As part of the package, the Toyota Tacoma boasts Trailer-Sway Control.

For off-road prowess, go with the Tacoma TRD, which boasts an electronically locking rear differential, Crawl Control, and Multi-Terrain Select with five modes to choose from.
